The simple terms

The plain-language rules for using Wild Zoo Facts. Nothing sneaky — just what you can do, and what we can and can't promise.

It's free, and it's for fun and learning

Wild Zoo Facts is a free game and encyclopedia about weird animals. You're welcome to play and read as much as you like, at home or in a classroom. No account, no payment, no catch.

The facts are for curiosity, not homework proof

We work hard to keep the animal facts accurate and check them against reliable sources, but science gets updated and mistakes can happen. For a school report, always double-check with a teacher, a library, or an official science source — don't cite us as the last word.

Please don't break or copy the site

You may use the site normally and print the worksheets and animal cards for personal or classroom use. Please don't copy the whole site, scrape it, resell it, try to break it, or pass our content off as your own. The name, art, text and games belong to Wild Zoo Facts.

Links and videos lead off our site

Some buttons open our YouTube channel or other sites in a new tab. Once you leave Wild Zoo Facts, those places have their own rules and privacy practices that we don't control. We recommend a grown-up stays nearby for younger kids.

We can't promise it's perfect

The site is provided "as is." We can't promise it will always be online, bug-free, or right about everything, and we aren't responsible for any loss from using it. It's a fun learning game — please treat it as one.

These terms can change

If we change how the site works (for example, adding a shop or a newsletter for grown-ups), we'll update this page. Keep using the site and you're agreeing to the current version.

Questions, or spot something wrong? Email a grown-up on our team at [email protected]. See also our privacy promise.
